Set up an Android Device

Preparing

Please prepare the Android device for the correct playback of your playlists via the cloud by opening the settings under System → Date & time and then activating the options → Automatic date & time and → Automatic time zone.

Step 1

Log in to your cloud account on the Android device. In the upper bar of the Home screen you will find the Download function. Open the drop-down menu by clicking on the triangle and select the Android Player menu item.

Step 2

By clicking on the menu item Android Player, you initiate the download of the Android Player application.

The download process will be indicated by an animated arrow in the notification bar →  .

Step 3

After downloading, open the Android device's quick settings bar by wiping the notification bar down. The application of the app is provided there for selection.

Step 4

In the opened notification window, go to the Android Download App and select it.

Step 5

A dialog box appears showing the question "Do you want to install this app?"
Additionally you can view the app's permissions related to privacy and device access.

Tap Next to start the installation process.

Step 6

Continue Installation

In the now opened installation window tap on Install to continue the installation process once you have read the further details.

Step 7

Installation Completion

When the installation is complete, the App Installed dialog box appears. In this window, tap Open to get the Activation Code required to connect to the cloud.

Activation Code

You will now see this screen on your Android display, which provides you with an individually generated activation code.

Add a new device to your Cloud account and enter the activation code displayed in the Code area. Your device is now connected to the Cloud Software and can display your content.

Exit Player

If you want to exit your player at a later time, tap in all four corners of the screen, starting in the top left-hand corner and then clockwise.

Open Menu

Tap the 3-dot function at the top right to open the menu and then select → Exit.

Password Prompt

No password is stored by default, so tap → OK without entering one. If you have stored a password for the device in the Cloud Portal, enter the password and then confirm your entry with → OK.
