Remote Control of the Device (Example)

After turning on the device, you should use the following keys on the remote control:


  1. Press the HOME key to make the device → ready to use.
  2. Press the Settings key to access the relevant settings options.
  3. Use the Arrow keys to navigate to the relevant settings items on the screen.
  4. Use the OK key to confirm your selection.

Ready to Use

  1. Go to Quick Start by using the arrow keys on the remote control of your device.
  2. Now, go to → Start.
  3. Confirm by pressing the Ok key.

Quickstart

  1. Set your desired language.
  2. Enter the current date and time. Use the arrow keys on the remote control.
  3. Once you are ready, go to → Done.
  4. Confirm by pressing the Ok key.

… Press the Settings key to access the relevant settings options … 

EZ Setting

  1. Access  Ez Settings by using the arrow keys on the device remote control.

  2. Confirm by pressing the OK key.
SI Server Setting

  1. Now go to   SI Server Setting in the same way.


  2. Confirm by pressing the OK key.

...Now, specify the following settings...

Fully Qualified Domain Name to On.

Enter your link into the field https://...YourDomain/webos.zip.

Set Application Launch Mode to Local.
Activate:  REMOTE |  ZIP |  Auto Set.

Application Upgrade

The settings you have made will open this confirmation prompt.

Go to  CONFIRM and press the OK key on the remote control.

Complete Upgrade

This opens a further prompt to complete the upgrade.

Confirm by pressing the  OK key.

...turn off  power and restart the device.

The app will then start automatically and will be updated.

This can take about 1-2 minutes...

Activation Code

Once the app has started successfully, you should see an Activation Code. Now log in to your Cloud Account. Assign your LG SoC device by clicking on + Add Device in the device management and fill in the Activation Code.
