Playlist Element Functions

Structure of the Element Functions

After selecting a playlist element in the playlist, the following setting options are provided on the right side of the program window:

  • SETTINGS
  • TIME CONTROL
  • TAGS
  • TEMPLATES
  • SCREENS

Settings

You can change the current name of the playlist element in the top field. The field below is provided for defining an alias. The next function sets the element to mute. Use the following function to hide any existing audio for this element that would otherwise be played in the entire playlist. The next function allows you to hide an overlay which is activated for the entire playlist. You can then specify the playback duration or activate the end detection in the field below. You can also define the transition to the next playlist element and then the time for this as well as specify a Rotation. If external data is inserted in the element, it is displayed in the External content area. The activated Interval option allows you to determine the playback frequency. Also you can activate an Overlay (Multiplayer only) for this playlist element. See the description in the following.

Clicking on → Edit Tags allows you to assign an characteristic to the playlist element.

After you have made your entry, click on → Okay.

Templates

Clicking on the Templates bar gives you quick access to the Cloud Software Templates section, which you can access regularly via the Screens button on the layer Home. This area provides you with a selection of templates that have already been created and are stored in a folder structure. Once you have selected a template, you can drag and drop it into the currently called playlist. A right click on the element just inserted opens a context menu with the option → Edit Template. This selection allows you to make individual adjustments in the HTML5 Editor.

Screens

This area is used to store your individually edited templates. You can drag and drop the selected playlist element from the playlist into the Screens area to save it there and use it for further projects.
