Playlist Content
The Playlist Contents area provides a list of the items contained in the currently accessed playlist.

Upper Toolbar
The playlist area has the following functions in the upper bar next to a selection field for the playlists:
1. Preview
2. Add
3. Delete
4. Download
5. Upload
6. Print playlist, pack playlist and
copy to "My templates"
Via this symbol → you can show or hide the function column on the right side → Playlist Functions.
Preview
You can open the playlist preview by clicking on the play symbol in the upper bar or by clicking on the preview function at the bottom right of the bar.
Preview Window
A separate window opens for the playlist preview, which plays the individual playlist contents in the main area and also displays them as a playlist on the left-hand side.
This allows you to play the entire playlist in this preview or just a specific playlist element if you want to check a detail in its content, for example.
To do this, move the mouse pointer over the thumbnail of the desired playlist item in the list and then click on the play symbol that appears.
In the top bar, you can choose to display the content on a specific date or at a specific time.
You can also see overlay elements and remote controls in the playlist preview and simulate their functionality in the preview.
Add Playlist Contents
You can add content to your playlist by
→ creating new content →
→ using screens from the template area
→ uploading individual templates, playlists, media or audio files
Create New Content
Via the Plus Symbol → you can add to your playlist:
New Screens - Playlists - Devices - TV Casts - Links/ Websites/Streams - Facebook - Instagram - Twitter - Youtube - Photowalls - PDF PageFlip - Ticker - Music - Slots.
Add Screen from the Template Area
You can access the Templates area and My Templates area via the right-hand column and drag & drop a screen to any position in your playlist. A right click on the element you have just inserted and a subsequent click on → Edit template allows you to make individual modifications.
Playlist Elements
Once you have created a playlist, all its elements are listed with their own line in the Playlist area. These can be individual templates or inserted playlists, media files as well as text and audio files, news tickers, slots, websites and social media integrations. The icons at the end of each line show you the current status of the settings and are displayed accordingly activated or deactivated. Click on the line to activate the element for editing.
Note:
If the name of a playlist element is displayed in red, you have made changes to that element that have not yet been released.
Once the playlist is released again, the the name of the playlist reverts back to black.
Lock Playlist Element
Clicking on the lock symbol allows you to lock certain functions of a playlist element by a password. Changes to these functions can then only be made if the defined password is entered beforehand.
You can select the function that should be locked, by activating the box in front of it.
Then enter your desired password for locking and unlocking the element in the input field under Password and click on → Okay.
Edit Playlist Element
If you right-click on a playlist element, a context menu opens depending on the element type.

Right-click on a screen to select the adjacent options.
Clicking on → Edit template opens the screen for editing in the → HTML5 Editor.
If the screen contains an XML file, the → External content option is also available. Clicking opens the file for editing in the → XML Editor.

Right-click on an image to select the adjacent options.
Rotate image: To adjust the alignment of an image in the playlist, click on → Rotate image. This opens the following window.
Functions of a Playlist Element
In the upper bar you can delete or down- load the contents. When you select the element by clicking on the line, you can edit the settings and time control on the right-hand and save this screen in the folder My own Templates. Read more in the chapter → Playlist Element Functions.
Functions of the Entire Playlist
Without selecting an element you have access to the functions of the entire playlist on the right side of the programm window.
