Playlist Tags
In this chapter, you will read how to assign the created tags to playlist elements.
To be able to assign a tag to a playlist element in the playlist management, you must first create tags under User (see chapter → Tags And Groups). In addition, you must assign the corresponding tags to the devices (see chapter → Device Tags).
Note:
The display and functions in the Tags area depend on whether tag groups have been created in addition to playlist tags.
Term Explanation Include/Exclude Tags
Include: The playlist content should be displayed for devices with this tag.
Exclude: The playlist content should explicitly not be displayed for devices with this tag.
Tags Area Without Added Tag Groups
- A click on the desired playlist element in the selected playlist opens the Tags tab.
- Click in the box to activate the tag for this playlist element.
- To make changes, you can open the editing window for tags and groups via → Edit Tags.
- Specify whether to exclude or include the playlist item for a selected tag.
Example: The tag → "Open 24 hours" marks whether the device is located in a store that is open 24 hours.
- In the example, content 1 is included and thus it is played on players that are assigned the tag → Open 24 hours.
- The content 2 is excluded so it is explicitly not played on players that are assigned the tag → Open 24 hours.
Tags Area With Added Tag Groups
Once you have created tag groups in addition to the tags in the User Management, the Tags Area is provided in the following display and with the following functions:
- Click in the box to activate/deactivate the respective group. At the same time, you activate all the tags that you have assigned to this group.
- For detailed editing, click on the Plus Symbol. You can now exclude/include or deactivate individual tags of the tag group.
- For quick editing, click on the Pencil Icon. You can now include or exclude all features at the same time using the drop-down menu. Select the corresponding menu item.
- If you want to edit tags or groups, you can access the editing window for tags and groups via the menu item or the Edit Tags button.
