Devices And Groups

In the Devices and Groups area, you as the administrator have the option of granting each user rights to create and edit devices and device groups.

These rights are divided into the following options and are activated in the default settings for each user:

All devices and groups
 Edit devices
 Create devices

Select the desired subuser, go to the → Devices and Groups tab and deactivate/activate the following options as required:

 All devices and groups

• Activated → All devices and device groups are enabled for the subuser (the devices and device groups area is grayed out).
  
• Deactivated → Certain devices and device groups can be enabled for the subuser by ticking them.
  

 Edit devices

• Aktivated → The subuser may edit the enabled devices.
• Deactivated → The subuser can only view the enabled devices.
  

 Create devices

• Aktivated → The subuser may create new devices in the enabled groups.
• Deactivated → The subuser is not allowed to create devices.

Once you have completed your entries, click → Save.
